Update for Chase Mobile App on Android Market?

I have the Samsung Galaxy Prevail from Boost Mobile and I just downloaded the Chase Mobile App and I was really looking forward to the quick deposit feature but on the Android Market the version they have is 2.1. On the Chase website it says for the quick deposit feature the version needs to b at least version 2.3 or higher. Does anyone know if there will be any kind of update to fix this or is it just because of the phone I'm using?
