Will he ever be ready?? How much does he like me?

He doesnt take his eyes off me when I'm in view, he flirts with me, tries to make me laugh, has a nickname for me (personal joke), writes peoms about me, told me he likes me and has liked me for a yr and a half, talked to me everyday (whether it be in person, or over the phone), is interested and gives immediate attention before anyone else does on what I have to say or my opinions, asks me my opinion on everything, tells me everything personal in his family and at school that he doesn't talk about to anyone else about, tries to make me jelous, touches me every opportunity he gets(not sexually) and sits on my lap and tries to carry me jokingly, loves visiting me and being around my sisters and cousins and family, doesn't go one week without going out (in groups of people), sits next to me everytime I sit down, wants a relationship but currently due to family reasons is too stressed for one. I can't tell what level we are at and how much he likes me, is it a crush, is it love is it in between? We are in yr 12 and hsc year is almost over, He wants to wait until after his family issues are delt with before he can focus on a relationship but his father is very ill and could be passing away soon, I don't think he will every be ready and we both having feelings for eachother. I don't know what to do?
