Can the samsung galaxy prevail from boostmobile go on skype at all?

I am getting the samsung galaxy prevail on my birthday and to be sure I am wondering if it is possible to go on skype? I need boost since it is the only affordable company with a good android phone. metropcs doesn't have what i want and the roaming charges. so to be sure this was my original birthday choice.
