How would i recover files off of a fried USB drive?

So I ran into a small problem. A USB I have been using for the past year and a bit died on me today. The light that comes on which is supposed to signify it's plugged in and working did not come on, device manager says unknown device, and is giving error code 43. I've searched google for a fix with no prevail. I have also went into device manager, disabled the malfunctioning USB drive and enabled it again, nothing. I uninstalled everything to do with USB in Device Manger and restarted my computer, nothing. Ran troubleshooter, nothing. Opened up the case and took a look at the USB itself. I really don't know what to do with this, would appreciated it if anyone knows a way to recover the files off of this now dead USB flash drive. Thanks in advance.
