Is This Really True?! 10 Points For Best Answer?

Okay, so a friend of mine had her appendix out a couple of weeks ago (you may remember me making a post about it) anyway, she told me she did it on purpose because she needed some respite from her house, she told me that she didn't poo for nearly 2 weeks and it gave her appendicitis. Can this really happen? I mean surely they would be able to tell or something? Surely just not going to the toilet wouldn't cause this? They do have ways to tell if she actually had it don't they? Im just worried that she may have gone to far this time. Answers please! x
