How should i tell him im not into him?

okay so theres this guy that ive known for quite some time now. My friends are pushing me to go out with him. so at a party the other week we hooked up and he seemed really happy afterwards and likes me and he asked me out to the movies tonight. however, as bad as this is i realised that i dont really like him that much to start something with him. i would rather stay friends. i have the HSC this year so i dont really need any distractions. I dont know how to tell him that im not interested any suggestions?
