Does the Samsung Galaxy Prevail for boost mobile lag and crash a lot?

I saw some reviews that said the galaxy prevail tends to lag and sometimes even needs to be rebooted just to get it to work again. Is this a constant issue or does it just happen rarely? I don't want to try to use the phone and have it constantly lag on me especially not for 180 dollars. Thank You for your help. If there are any other flaws to the phone please let me know.
