You did nothing wrong at all. Just sounds to me like she is very shy and maybe not ready for a relationship at this point. But don't give up, if you keep pursuing her she will soon realize how much she means to you and she will be very flattered, which can lead to her liking you to. And if it doesn't, then it wasn't meant to be.
